For many families, maintaining an appliance-use routine takes repeated encouragement. Children may find it difficult to keep going when they cannot readily see progress.
FEITA’s Smile mini programme makes the daily record simple: open the programme, take a check-in photograph and record appliance use. A visual dashboard shows recorded wear time, days of use and progress through the routine.
On the clinician interface, the dental team can review successive check-ins and respond to questions within the record. This gives families a way to raise concerns and receive professional guidance, while encouraging children to take part in the routine.
Check-in records support communication; they do not replace clinical reviews or determine the prescribed wear schedule. Wear requirements should follow the treating clinician’s instructions for the individual appliance.
