Silicone Vestibular Shield
A removable oral muscle training device worn between the lips or cheeks and the teeth. Closed-lip wear and gentle traction exercises assist lip muscle function and management of selected oral habits.
Design & structure
An arched shield and an anterior traction feature form the device. Flexible silicone supports wear and training; the anterior traction feature is used for lip-resistance exercises under professional guidance.
Clinical use & follow-up
Habitual open-mouth posture or mouth breathing requires prior assessment of nasal patency and airway concerns. Do not force closed-lip wear. If pain, mucosal injury or breathing discomfort occurs, remove the device immediately and contact the clinician.
